Forest honey has different shades of brownish colour with red or green shade. Strong scent of resin, spruce tips, smoke, wax and hummus fills our nostrils. It has a strong aroma of resin, walnuts, caramel and dried fruit. Its taste is sweet and strong, sometimes even slightly embittered. We recommend it on a bread for breakfast. Pollen is like a fingerprint of every plant and is distinct for every species of plants. Pollen forms in anthers and is intended for sexual reproduction of plants. It is the most protein part of a plant.

Pollen that is produced in our beekeeping is called “striper”, because we gather it with stripping. This means that we set special meshes in front of the hives, which strip pollen from legs of bees.

Pollen is primarily a foodstuff, it was discovered however, that it helps with anemia, arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and even against allergies. We can consume it dryly, with fruit, with honey, water, juice, yogurt and so forth. It is recommended that we consume it with liquid or that we chew it well, because we digest it easier that way.

Chestnut honey is brown or color of amber, it has sharp and bitter taste. Aroma is strong and bitter due to a great amount of chestnut pollen, which gives it a special value. It is the richest honey with pollen and a great treasury of extremely rare substances. The taste is strong and bitter. It crystallizes very slowly due to greater content of fruit sugar. It works in a favorable way for the digestive system, liver and insomnia. It aids with bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory diseases.
