Pollen
Pollen is like a fingerprint of every plant and is distinct for every species of plants. Pollen forms in anthers and is intended for sexual reproduction of plants. It is the most protein part of a plant.
Pollen that is produced in our beekeeping is called “striper”, because we gather it with stripping. This means that we set special meshes in front of the hives, which strip pollen from legs of bees.
Pollen is primarily a foodstuff, it was discovered however, that it helps with anemia, arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and even against allergies. We can consume it dryly, with fruit, with honey, water, juice, yogurt and so forth. It is recommended that we consume it with liquid or that we chew it well, because we digest it easier that way.
